Again - figuring out how all of this works. Here is a pic from me last summer where I hiked up Gros Morne mountain on the West Coast of Newfoundland. I think this will work wonderfully providing the computers in the internet cafes in Kisumu will allow me memory sticks where I can store the pictures I want to post! We'll see...

Awesome! Now.. .for those of you experienced in the world of blogging... below this box it says "this blog does not allow anonymous comments" - does this mean that everyone on my list must have a google account in order to comment? and if so.. how do I open it up so people can send comments??

Oh tall blonde one. Without the sign-in option your blog will be assaulted with all sorts of random spam type comments from people and companies trying to sell you something. A sad reality of the modern world I'm afraid.

I allow anonymous comments and I've had very few problems with that. I've had a few mean comments from people but I've actually never received spam. You could always start with the anonymous comments allowed so people that don't use blogger can comment, and if you have problems turn it off.

Oh yeah...allow anonymous and turn on word verification. This is how you avoid the spammy comments.
